When did you first find your passion? (Tell us all about your movement)

I’ve always said I had a purpose for as long as I could remember. And when life kept trying to knock me down I found the lesson in the struggle. I found purpose in my pain. Although my story is unique to me, I realized we all have a purpose. I wanted to create a platform that allowed everyone to tell their story.

What’s important to you about living in your purpose?

Finding my purpose was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. When I get knocked down I allow myself to feel the emotions of that moment but I never let it surpass that moment. Even if I don’t understand why something happened at the moment–knowing that there are no coincidences in life has allowed me to see the rainbow after the storm.

What motivates you to start your day?

My children and my grandchildren. I had to see this project through for their future. So when I’m no longer here my grand children, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren etc..will always have a piece of me.

Tell Us About Your New Book “I Have A Purpose” And How Was That Process?

My new book takes a journey through my life. I started to write it 7 years ago because I believed that my story was worth telling. So many people, so many woman will be able to relate with my experience. There was a point where I put the book down because I wasn’t ready yet. I had to come to peace with what had happened throughout the years and genuinely be healed for this next process. Three years ago, I picked the book up again– two years after I lost my husband. I was empty and lost. I was alive but I wasn’t living. This book gave me life again. I channeled all the love I have for him into my book, into my brand. Reliving some of these moments were most certainly hard. Giving it life again was challenging but I knew within myself that this was just a part of my past, it did not define who I am as a person.

Give us one tip, that can change our way of thinking.

Believe in yourself.

Any pointers for the next entrepreneur startups?

Do it with passion or don’t do it at all. There’s so many great ideas but if it doesn’t resonate with you, it will never reach its full potential.
